Job summary

U.S. Dermatology Partners is seeking a Surgical Technician to support licensed providers in clinic and surgical settings. The role ensures safe, compassionate patient care and prepares rooms, instruments, and medications under physician direction.

The position requires completion of a surgical technologist program and adherence to sterile technique and HIPAA guidelines, with strong English communication and computer skills to document care and coordinate with staff.

Qualifications

• 1 year of qualifying experience.
• Completion of a surgical technologist training program, preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and anatomy.
• Ability to follow or provide verbal & written instructions with clear grammar and spelling.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient advocate during exams and treatments.
• Prepare and assist in surgical/procedure rooms; maintain sterile field.
• Record medical history, medications, allergies and test results.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper consent forms are obtained.
• Assist physicians, hand instruments, administer injections and remove sutures.
• Prepare and dispense medications under physician direction; provide prescription information.
