Job summary

U.S. Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support licensed medical providers in clinic and surgical settings. You will deliver safe, compassionate care, assist with exams and procedures, and help manage patient flow and documentation.

You will collect vitals, record medical history, prepare treatment areas, and support pharmacologic tasks under physician direction. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a medical setting (preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and medications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a patient advocate during exams and treatment.
• Record medical history, medications, allergies and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist physicians.
• Administer medications as directed following safety protocols.
• Collect specimens and prepare them for testing.
• Explain procedures and post-treatment care to patients.
• Schedule appointments and manage room preparation.
• Maintain sterile field and cleanliness between patients.
• Assist in procedures and suture removal as needed.
• Document procedures accurately in medical records.
