Job summary

US Oral Surgery Management in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the surgeon during consultations and surgeries. You will assist with patient seating, vitals, and pre-operative and post-operative care while ensuring accurate documentation and safety compliance.

You will follow OSHA guidelines, maintain sterile equipment, and help provide an excellent patient experience while collaborating with doctors and staff in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Basic CPR certification required.
• Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant Certification preferred.
• Hepatitis B Vaccination & Titer.
• TB Vaccination & Titer.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during surgeries, seat patients, and take vitals.
• Maintain competency in anesthesia monitoring, and ensure consent forms and treatment plans are completed.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients and obtain medical clearances.
• Adhere to OSHA and regulatory guidelines, ensure radiation protection and proper radiographic exposure.
• Document and maintain accurate records and charting.
• Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and instruments.
• Maintain rapport with patients, doctors and team; participate in resolving conflicts.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and clinic information and ensure patient comfort and experience.
• Accept special projects and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
