Job summary

US Oral Surgery Management is seeking a Surgical Technician to support doctors during surgeries and consultations at our San Marcos location. You will assist with pre- and post-operative care, seat patients, obtain clearances, and help maintain safety and documentation standards.

You will ensure patient comfort and a positive experience, while upholding OSHA guidelines, radiation safety, and compliance with clinical protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Support: Assist the doctor during surgeries, seat patients, and take vitals; ensure consent forms and treatment plans are completed.
• Patient Care Expert: Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions; obtain necessary medical clearances and maintain patient care standards.
• Compliance and Safety Adherence: Follow OSHA/regulatory guidelines; manage radiation safety and proper radiographic techniques.
• Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records in line with standards.
• Equipment and Instrument Maintenance: Prepare and maintain clinical equipment for procedures.
• Interpersonal Relations: Maintain rapport with patients and team; participate in resolving conflicts.
• Confidentiality and Professionalism: Protect patient and clinic information; handle sensitive data appropriately.
• Patient Experience Enhancement: Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout visits.
