Capital Health is seeking a Surgical Technician to support operative teams in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will handle instruments, supplies, and equipment while maintaining a sterile field and anticipating the surgeon's needs throughout procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a program completion for surgical technicians or an LPN license, with certification preferred. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a New Jersey approved or accredited program for surgical technicians or graduate of an LPN school with current LPN license.
• Certification from nationally recognized body for surgical technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Passes instruments, sutures and items during procedures under supervision.
• Maintains organized sterile field and verifies sterility of instruments.
• Performs scrub assistance and supports circulating nurse with patient care and room turnover.
• Prepares operating room by opening sterile supplies and equipment for scheduled procedures.
