Job summary

Eyecare Partners Surgery Center in Wichita, KS is seeking a Surgical Technician for a full-time role in the Operating Room. The technician assists surgeons, RNs, and assistants and helps prepare the OR, equipment, and sterile supplies to support patient care.

The position requires CST preferred and BLS certification; prior OR experience is valued. Reports to the Charge Nurse and supports a compliant, efficient surgical team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of hospital main operating room experience preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification preferred; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical operations under supervision of Surgeons, RNs and Surgical Assistants.
• Prepare operating room and equipment, ensure sterility and supplies.
• Pass instruments and maintain field records of medications and specimens.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and participate in ongoing training.
