Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to support our surgical team and ensure a smooth, sterile operating room for diverse procedures. This role contributes to safe patient care and efficient case flow across the OR suites.

With 16 OR rooms and 40–65 cases daily, the position offers sign-on bonuses and relocation benefits for eligible candidates, plus ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of surgical technician certification from an accredited program required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment.
• One year of hospital OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instrument and equipment support to surgeons during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and strict infection control.
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team for smooth operations.
• Ensure the OR is safe, organized and equipped for procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses and anesthesiologists to maximize safety.
