Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains the operating room with sterile setup.
• Anticipates surgeon needs and passes instruments accurately.
• Sterilizes, inspects, and assembles surgical instruments.
• Performs instrument counts with the circulating nurse to ensure patient safety.
• Assists in patient positioning and draping during procedures.
• Maintains supplies and updates instrument cards for procedures.
• Cleans, reprocesses, and sterilizes equipment following protocols.
• Restocks and readies ORs for subsequent cases.
• Follows infection control standards and facility policies.
