Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in scrubbing a minimum of 4 specialties.
• 2 years acute care surgical technician experience and CST certification required, OR 10 years experience.
• Computer, internet, order entry and word processing experience preferred.
• Proficient in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Safely and competently perform all aspects of surgical techniques/procedures.
• Maintain documentation and protect patient privacy.
• Assist and communicate with the surgical team and supervisor.
• Support instrument availability and aseptic technique.
• Follow department policies and participate in patient flow.
