Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years operating room scrubbing experience within the last three years.
• Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and organizes the room and equipment for upcoming procedures.
• Performs scrub role: pass instruments, cut sutures, hold retractors, obtain/process tissue samples.
• Assists physician within scope of competency and with patient transfer.
• Cleans and maintains instruments and equipment; supports sterilization processes.
• Transports patients, equipment, and supplies and participates in performance improvement activities.
