Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore is seeking a Surgical Technician II (Non-Certified) to join the Labor and Delivery team on a limited 24-hour day shift. You will assist the surgical team under the direction of a Registered Nurse, scrubbing on procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Surgical Technologist program (military experience may be considered), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Surgical Technologist Program (military Surgical Technologist experience may be considered in lieu of training program).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification provided by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network
• Minimum of two years prior experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification provided by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network

Surgical Technologist II Non-Certified:

Does not require certification

Minimum of two years prior experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Salary Range:

Minimum 34.68/hour - Maximum 40.24/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
