Job summary

• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technician School or accredited LPN program.
• Surgical Technician experience of 1 year; if LPN graduate, 1 year scrub or 2 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; National Surgical Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical support under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Clinical Supervisor.
• Supply Surgeon with instrumentation needs and act as liaison between physician, patient and family.
• Assist in orientation of new personnel, participate in on-call coverage and attend team meetings.
