Job summary

EyeSouth Partners is hiring a Surgical Technician to support physicians and the Nurse Manager by preparing and anticipating instrument needs for all surgical procedures. The role requires 0–3 years of experience and current BLS certification, with duties spanning supplies, sterility, and safety compliance.

You will work in a surgery center environment with patient contact and must follow instructions quickly while maintaining accuracy and organization. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience.
• Maintains current BLS certification and completion of required annual in-services.
• Must be able to understand and follow instruction with speed and accuracy.
• Must be able to organize and set priority for work to be done.
• Possesses manual dexterity, mobility, visual acuity, standing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, attendance, and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining supplies from other areas as needed.
• Returning supplies and equipment to the appropriate location.
• Assisting in keeping the Central Sterile area neat and orderly.
• Effecting handling health or safety hazards for self and patients.
• Reporting any unusual occurrences or incidents accurately to the Clinical Director.
• Performing other duties as required.
