Marshall Medical Center seeks a Surgical Technician for its Surgery - CP department. The role involves maintaining a sterile field, passing instruments to the surgeon, and preparing the OR for the next case. The technician helps with stocking and turnover, and interacts with patients and staff in a professional manner.

The position requires ORT training, NBSTSA certification (preferred), and a current BLS credential. Regular day shifts with on-site work are expected in Cameron Park, CA.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Operating Room Technician (ORT) course required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain sterile field and pass surgical instruments to the surgeon.
• Disassemble sterile field and decontaminate instruments after procedures.
• Return instrumentation to decontamination and turnover OR for next case.
• Assist in maintaining par levels of stock items in the department.
• Interact with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff professionally.
