Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Surgical Technician (Surg Tech, CST) to assist in the operating room under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The role focuses on maintaining the surgical field, assisting the surgeon, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications include graduation from a surgical technology program or nursing track, BLS certification, and state licensure/certification as applicable.

Formación

• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent.
• Certificate of surgical technology NBSTSA/NCCT or LPN qualification may apply.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in meeting goals for surgery department, including room turnover and first-case on-time starts.
• Assist in training/orientation of associates as directed by Clinical Educator.
• Maintain a safe environment for the patient and uphold sterile techniques.
