Summary

Athens Hair Transplants is a progressive hair restoration clinic focused on holistic solutions for hair restorations with proven, medical-based protocols. With the recent opening of the Edina, Minnesota location, this role will have the ability to travel to Omaha, NE - required during training period. Successful candidates will excel at both the technical skills and providing world-class care to our patients. Comprehensive, hands-on training available upon hire. Serve as a resource to patients and help them to navigate their hair transplant journeys. Regularly provide surgical support to the medical team, for pre-op, performing hair transplant procedures, and post-op steps, using fine instruments. As needed, provide administrative support to the medical practice.

Location: Based out of Edina, MN. This position is onsite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative tasks
• Set-up of the procedure room and sterilization of instruments
• Patient engagement and prep-work
• Act as a guide for the patient throughout the day
• Document patient care records in the EMR
• Work with fine instruments
• Donor hair harvesting and hair follicle placement
• Trimming and sorting hair follicles under a microscope
• Other day to day clinic tasks including patient follow up appointments, communications, and cleaning

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year demonstrated experience with tasks requiring excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination (i.e. handling fine instruments, working under a microscope, or similar tasks requiring meticulous attention to detail and steady hands), either through formal education, technical training, or professional roles required.
• Experience supporting surgery or procedures (e.g., medical assistant, dental assistant, or other similar role) to include sterilization of instruments preferred.
• Ability to travel to Omaha, NE required.
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information required.
