Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Surgical Technology or Certificate of Completion required.
• BLS within 30 days is required by the American Heart Association.
• Independently scrubs basic surgical procedures and supports perioperative team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile field and asepsis during procedures.
• Organizes supplies and equipment for efficient operations.
• Facilitates communication between units and nursing staff.
• Collects data and documents patient records per standards.
• Transcribes orders and manages patient charts.
• Assists with patient transport and care activities.
• Keeps logs of admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Assists with supply ordering and inventory control.
• Collaborates with surgeons and OR team for instrument readiness.
