Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc is seeking a Full-Time Certified Surgical Tech at Prince William Surgery Center in Manassas, VA. The role assists the surgical team, scrubs for procedures, and maintains supplies and equipment under nursing supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a Surgical Technician program or equivalent education, state/center certification, and ambulatory center experience, thriving in a collaborative patient-care setting.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent education/experience.
Certification as required by state and/or center.
Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
Teamwork and communication skills for collaboration with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

Scrub for surgical procedures under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
Prepare and maintain supplies, instruments and equipment for procedures.
Support the surgical team and participate in quality improvement activities.
Adapt to changing patient conditions and coordinate with the care team.
