Job summary

Surgi-Center of Central VA is actively seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our outpatient surgical team in Fredericksburg, VA. The role involves scrubbing for procedures, maintaining a sterile field, and supporting the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications include a surgical technician program or equivalent, state certification, and strong teamwork and communication skills. A $10k sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Maintains sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for these procedures.
• Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
• Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence as a member of the surgical team.
• Maintains sterile field and assists in instrument handling during operations.
• Communicates effectively with staff and physicians to ensure smooth workflow.
