Qualifications

• Technical school or associate degree in surgical tech required.
• BCLS certification required; CST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains the operating room for surgical cases with sterile technique.
• Assists the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Cleans, reprocesses, and sterilizes instruments according to protocols.
• Restocks supplies and ensures OR readiness for subsequent cases.
• Maintains infection prevention standards and complies with policies.
