• Completion of an accredited school of surgical technology.
• 1–3 years previous surgery experience preferred.
• BLS certification through an accredited program; CST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub activities using aseptic technique and infection control measures.
• Prepares and uses equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Locates and operates equipment; reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Independently prepares sterile field for pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Maintains and updates preference cards and supports OR workflow.
• Adheres to confidentiality, policies, and patient safety guidelines.
