Job summary

Heritage Valley Health System is seeking a part-time Surgical Tech for the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Monaca, PA. Work hours are Monday through Friday during the day, with 40 hours per pay period on-site.

The role involves assisting with surgical procedures as a scrub member, preparing and reprocessing instruments, and keeping a sterile environment in accordance with center policies.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification required.
• Must obtain required clearances within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures as scrub member of the surgical team.
• Prepares/Reprocesses surgical instruments and maintains a clean and safe surgical environment.
