Job summary

AHN in Monaca, PA, is seeking a part-time Surgical Tech for the Heritage Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will join the scrub team under RN supervision, assist with procedures, and help maintain a safe, efficient operating room.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program, BLS, and the ability to obtain required clearances within 90 days. Two years OR experience and AST certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification required.
• Must pass clearances within 90 days of commencing employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures as a scrub member of the surgical team.
• Prepares/Reprocesses surgical instruments and maintains a clean and safe surgical environment.
• Complies with center policies and procedures and safety standards.
