Qualifikationen

• Surgical Technician Certificate from an accredited college, technical school, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months training, experience, or combination of education and experience.
• Current Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Demonstrates competence in care of specimens and accurately handles specimens at all times.

Aufgaben

• Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
• Prepares operating suite with instruments and supplies; monitors inventory.
• Maintains sterile technique and asepsis throughout procedures.
• Scrubs for all procedures and prepares for scheduled times.
• Collaborates with nursing staff and participates in performance improvement activities.
