Job summary

United Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Operating Room Technician for the Night shift at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY.

You will prepare ORs, ensure sterility of instruments, and assist surgeons and nurses throughout procedures to support patient safety and optimal outcomes. Minimum requirement is NYS Practical Nurse license with CPR within 3 months of hire; OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
• Current New York State Practical Nurse License.
• CPR Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Operating Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical instruments are sterile and readily available.
• Provide essential assistance to surgeons and nurses during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with EMR data entry and charting.
• Coordinate supplies and unit functioning to support patient care and safety.
