Job summary

Qualifications

• AST certification preferred or eligible within one year of hire.
• Completion of an accredited surgical tech program or equivalent OR experience.
• BLS certification is required; AST certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Clinical competence in patient care and adherence to safety standards.
• Attend in-service training to maintain OR competency.
• Foster collaboration and teamwork among operating room staff.
• Participate in performance improvement opportunities and best practice adoption.
• Utilize resources effectively and maintain punctual attendance.
• Demonstrate high levels of professionalism and patient-centered service.
• Log into McKesson/Paragon systems and print case cards as needed.
