The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to assist during operative procedures, prepare and decontaminate instruments, and ensure availability of all requested equipment. The role requires a formal Surgical Technology program and NBSTSA certification, with CPR training and strong teamwork.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program or military training.
• NBSTSA certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience preferred or completion of an internship through an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• CPR certification required; able to communicate effectively and assist in neonatal to geriatric care.

Mansioni

• Assist surgeons and registered nurses by performing routine, technical, and related duties during surgical operations.
• Maintain patient safety and provide decontaminated, ready-to-use equipment for procedures.
• Manage tray inventory and instrument maintenance; support MD requests and specialty equipment.
