Job summary

Candidates must have at least 1 year of OR tech experience or graduation from an accredited surgical technology program with externship at Mercy San Juan Main OR, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• One year of OR Technician experience in an acute care setting or graduation from an accredited surgical technology program with externship at Mercy San Juan Main OR.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong aseptic technique and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the operating room for scheduled procedures.
• Maintain sterile conditions throughout procedures and assist surgical staff.
• Anticipate needs and support case flow to prevent delays.
• Ensure sharps safety and proper disposal as part of the team.
