Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, California is seeking an Operating Room Technician to support the surgical team. You will prepare the OR, set up instruments, maintain sterile conditions, and assist during procedures to promote optimal patient outcomes.

You will use physician's preference cards to source instruments and supplies, ensure sharps safety, and actively participate in case flow and equipment management in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 1 year of Operating Room Technician experience in an acute care setting or graduation from an accredited surgical technology program with externship.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Proven ability to set up sterile fields and assist in procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and prepare the operating room and equipment to prevent delays.
• Obtain instruments and supplies using physician's preference cards.
• Maintain a sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Assist during surgical procedures and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies and sharps containment and disposal.
