Responsibilities

• Assist with preparatory, scrubbing and related services under supervision of OR staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operating room with aseptic technique and sterile field.
• Act as a scrub assistant and maintain knowledge of procedures.
• Set up the room, move equipment, and operate OR devices as needed.
• Notify staff of equipment/supply problems and transport patients/equipment.
• Position patients and assist with transfers, while following safety guidelines.
• Ensure age-specific patient care and align with department policies.
