Advocate Health in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Surgical Technologist intern enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technology program. The role supports OR teams and participates in sterile technique under supervision.

This position requires current enrollment, no prior experience, and eligibility for BLS within 6 months. Shifts are variable and coordinated with RN Lead and preceptor; hours per week are part-time and may vary.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited or approved Surgical Technology program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 6 months unless exempted by department.
• No prior experience required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with preparatory, scrubbing and related OR services.
• Support surgical cases across specialty areas under supervision.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic techniques.
• Prepare and drape the surgical area; pass instruments as needed.
• Ensure room setup and equipment readiness for each case.
• Assist in patient positioning and safe transport as directed.
