Job summary

Jefferson Surgery Center – Cherry Hill is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our perioperative team. You will fill the surgical scrub role across procedures under a RN and Manager’s supervision, assisting physicians and nurses while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.

Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma, Surgical Technologist certification, and BCLS certification. Prior OR tech experience is desired, with a commitment to teamwork and efficient case flow.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• Two years previous experience as an operating room technician desired.
• Current BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and instrument handling.
• Prepare and restock operating rooms for cases.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready for upcoming procedures.
• Adhere to safety policies and infection control standards.
• Support surgical team with patient care and workflow.
