Coral Gables Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist the surgical team under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include preparing sterile supplies and equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and passing instruments to the surgeon during procedures while accounting for sponges and needles.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and Surgical Technician training; 1+ year of surgical tech experience preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• Graduate from a Surgical Technician program preferred; OR 3+ years of surgical tech experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain sterile supplies, instruments and equipment for surgery.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeon and assistants during procedures; maintain accuracy of sponges, needles and instruments.
