Job summary

Surgery Center of Coral Gables is seeking a Surgical Technologist Scrub Tech to support sterile technique and assist in the operating room. You will prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus Surgical Technician training or equivalent.
• State or center certification as required.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Aseptic techniques and their proper implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• The Surgical Technologist scrubs for procedures and works as part of the surgical team.
• Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Supports the center's philosophy, objectives, and quality initiatives.
