Piedmont McDuffie Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the OR team. The role involves scrub duties, advancing to higher responsibility in patient care, and collaboration with licensed staff under RN direction.

The position supports diverse patient ages and requires teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Required qualifications include a surgical technology program graduate or HS/GED, and BCLS upon hire; CST is preferred.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon Hire required.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care with higher level critical thinking and problem solving.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
• Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.

Education

Work Experience
