Job summary

Piedmont Macon North is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist to join the scrub team in Macon, GA. The role supports receiving patients, preparing sterile fields, and assisting licensed staff under RN direction.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED required and Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist required or 3 years surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire; CST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care with higher level critical thinking and problem solving.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff and performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
