Job summary

Trinity Health Hospital Campus & Medical District in Minot, ND is seeking a Surgical Tech to prepare and maintain sterile fields, organize instruments, and ensure the OR is ready for each procedure.

Under the guidance of the circulating RN, you will assist during operative cases, support infection prevention, and document counts and equipment status to help ensure safe, efficient patient care and smooth surgical workflows.

Qualifications

• Requires Surgical Tech training or Nursing program licensure.
• Maintains familiarity with instrumentation and sterile fields.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced OR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Handle, clean and prepare instruments and equipment for future cases.
• Perform and document count procedures with the circulating RN.
• Communicate effectively with surgical staff to support workflow.
• Participate in quality, safety and infection control activities.
