Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist to assist during procedures under RN/physician supervision. You’ll manage instruments, maintain sterile technique, and support the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of OR experience, graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program, and hold BLS certification; NJ licensure requirements apply. Evening/night shifts and on-site work are included.

Qualifications

• One year OR Training or Experience.
• BLS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during any surgical procedure and supports nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients between units.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
