Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a day-shift, full-time Surgical Technician. You will assist surgeons in the operating room, hand sterile instruments, and support patient safety under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or clinical-based training.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, sterile technique, medical terminology, and instrumentation.
• Six months of OR or ambulatory surgery experience.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• CORT or CST is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with procedures in the operating room under RN supervision.
• Convey sterile instruments and supplies used in basic to complex surgeries.
• Adhere to policies and regulations to ensure patient safety.
• Support anesthesia team and maintain sterile field throughout procedures.
