The candidate should have an LPN degree (or an associate in surgical technology), BLS, and relevant scrubbing/nursing experience. This is a 1.0 FTE union position with benefits and retirement options.

Qualifications

• LPN degree in nursing or associates in surgical technology.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience: scrub nurse 1 year or nursing 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies and equipment during surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and assist the surgeon.
• Prepare instruments for disinfection and sterilization; assist in central processing.
