Job summary

Ascension in Wichita, KS, is seeking a Surgical Tech to join the Labor and Delivery team. The role supports the operating room by preparing sterile and non-sterile instruments, handing instruments to the surgeon, and assisting with patient positioning and draping. The position is full-time on day shifts.

The role requires maintaining instrument counts and assisting with hemostasis during procedures. A valid BLS certification is required within 1 month of hire, and education includes a high

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
