Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Surgical Tech to prepare the operating room and assist the surgical team across a variety of procedures. You will set up equipment, maintain sterile environments, and support the OR team to contribute to patient healing.

The role requires adaptability, strong teamwork, and enthusiasm for complex surgical procedures, with on-call duties at a 30-minute response time for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Certification in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Compensation will differ based on certification status.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize all surgical supplies, instruments, solutions, and medications.
• Meticulously organize sterile tables and anticipate surgical team needs.
• Perform accurate counts, manage specimens, and uphold the highest sterile technique.
• Ensure a safe environment, report issues, and assist with OR turnaround.
• Provide essential on-call support with a 30-minute response time.
