Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking a Surgical Tech II PRN to assist surgeons before, during and after procedures, maintaining a sterile field and supplying instruments for the team. The role supports multiple OR teams and requires NBSTSA or NCCT certification and a related program graduate.

As a circulator and scrub tech, you will participate in a variety of cases, ensuring safety and quality care for patients in a dynamic perioperative environment.

Formación

• Certified Surgical Technologist NBSTSA or NCCT certification.
• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.
• 1 year of relevant work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates patient care by assisting the surgeon before, during and after surgical procedures.
• Plans, sets up, performs and cleans up the assigned surgical procedure as a circulator and as a scrub tech.
• Demonstrates knowledge of asepsis in creating and maintaining the sterile field.
• Performs sharp, sponge and instrument counts according to policy.
