Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program is preferred.
• One year experience in an operating room setting.
• BCLS Certification required at employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during procedures and maintain instrument integrity.
• Scrub and assist in the operative field as directed by RN.
• Turnover OR between cases, dispose of waste, and clean equipment.
• Handle specimens with accuracy and verify labeling per policy.
• Support safe patient care and collaborate with the RN on decisions.
