Job summary

Community Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a PRN Surgical Tech II to join a dedicated team. Under supervision, you will perform scrub duties, maintain sterile environment, assist RN with circulating tasks, and contribute to safe patient care during surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate is a high school graduate, trained in surgical technology, and certified or actively pursuing certification. BLS is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology.
• Certification as Surgical Tech preferred.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Scrub role for surgical patients and assist with care.
• Maintain sterile environment and proper instrument handling.
• Assist RN with circulating duties and patient positioning.
• Communicate effectively with team before, during, and after procedures.
• Apply sterile techniques and knowledge of anatomy during operations.
• Demonstrate competency and willingness to train as first assist.
