Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Surgical Tech to support the operating room team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. You will handle specialized technical duties and ensure equipment is available and functioning to maintain a safe surgical environment.

The role requires completing an accredited Surgical Tech program, with preferred 1 year of experience. Eligible candidates must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire and hold one of the listed CST certifications.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED and completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
• Experience: Preferred one year as a Surgical Tech.
• Certifications: Must have CST from NBSTSA or CST from NCCT, or US Military/USPHS Surgical Tech Program; BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician, performs specialized technical duties in the surgical or procedural environment.
• Assists the surgical team using equipment and instrumentation to ensure OR safety and availability of functioning equipment.
