Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist in surgical or procedural environments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician. You will perform specialized technical duties and help maintain a safe, functional operating room environment.

Responsibilities include operating equipment and instrumentation for the surgical team, and complying with BLS requirements within 90 days of start date.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• Preferred: One year of experience as a Surgical Technician.

Certification/Licensure

• Surgical Technician Certification by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting* OR
• Surgical Technician Certification by the National Center for Competency Testing* OR
• United States Military or Public Health Service Surgical Technology Program* (only one certification required)

Additional requirements include Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, to be obtained within ninety (90) days of start date.
