Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Surgical Technician to join our operating team on-site in San Antonio, TX. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician, you will perform specialized technical duties in surgical or procedural settings.

You will assist the surgical team by using equipment and instrumentation to ensure a safe operating environment, availability, and proper functioning of equipment. This role requires certification eligibility and a quick start after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• One year of experience as a Surgical Technician is preferred.
• Surgical Technician Certification by NBSTSA or NCTT or US Military/Public Health Service program (any one is acceptable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

  *Only one certification is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (must be obtained within ninety days of start date)
