In this role you will prepare the sterile operating room and instruments, assist during surgeries, and ensure proper sterilization and documentation. You will work with a collaborative team to support high-acuity care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Flexible pathways include certification from national boards or military programs.
• Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the sterile operating room and surgical instruments.
• Assist during surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Handle and sterilize surgical equipment and instruments.
• Monitor patient safety, position patients, and assist in recovery post-surgery.
• Document procedures accurately for medical records.
