Qualifications

• Associate's degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology (required).
• One year of experience as a Surgical Technologist (required).
• Certification: CST, NBSTA, TS-C or NCCT (required).

Responsibilities

• Scrub person for procedures; assemble supplies and equipment.
• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments; perform counts with RN.
• Maintain sterility of the field and assist with equipment as needed.
• Retrieve and label specimens; report implanted devices or drains.
• Prepare and adapt for patient populations; ensure aseptic technique.
